City of Lilburn Main Street Realignment and Roundabouts

PPI served as the Lead Transportation and Streetscape Engineer for design of a 0.6-mile roadway relocation and intersection improvements project. Existing Main Street from U.S. Highway 29/Lawrenceville Highway was realigned to eliminate a substandard skew angle and constructed a 90-degree intersection. The new Main Street alignment intersects Church Street where one of the new roundabouts was constructed. The new city hall and library complex, also designed by PPI, was constructed at the northeast corner of this intersection.
